Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to:
 *Provide strategic operational input to ensure that operational constraints and economic implications of each airport are understood by the airline.
 *Develop and implement both ground operations and cargo operations policies and practices in line with the airline’s low cost operating business model and strategic direction.
 *Plan and manage the daily operations to achieve company goals.
 *Effectively manage all Ground Handling contracts. This includes new contracts and reviewing and re-negotiating existing contracts.
 *Effectively develop a positive relations with Airport Company and manage the Airport agreement to all destinations covered. Including negotiation on Airport incentives program.
 *Maintain operational compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
 *Manage airport services related expenditure and revenue opportunities.
 *Pre-operational planning of new start up ports including but not limited to determining the lowest possible entry cost strategy, identifying and evaluating suitable suppliers as well as negotiating with airport authorities for lowest possible operational and facilities related charges.
 *Ensure strong working relationship with both external and internal customers are maintained as required.
 *Ensure Operations remain compliant with all CAA and other “Regulatory State” requirements, both local and offshore to ensure safe and secure operations.
 *Ensure company policy is upheld in relation to the services it provides.
 *Manage a team of Ground Operations Manager and Training Manager, coach and provide development opportunities
Related Experiences:
• Minimum of 10 years working experience in the airline field, with at least 5 years of management experience. Candidate with less experiences but a superb attitude and potential will also be considered;
• Significant knowledge of LCC market is preferred.
• Willing to travel extensively for business purposes;
• Good communication and presentation skills, spoken and written, in English and Chinese;
• Skilful communicator with government network and regulatory bodies
